Rental Villa Maintenance


Ensuring that your stay at Serendipity Villa is flawless takes quite a bit of maintenance and service. If any service person should appear at your Villa unannounced, call us to confirm their identity while they wait outside. It is always your choice not to let them in if it interferes with your day, and we can generally ask them to return at another time.

Garbage and Trash Removal: Due to the nature of our roads and the secluded locations of private homes, we do not have door-to-door trash collection service. Please drive your bagged garbage daily to the garbage bins just past the Mahogany Run Golf Club on Route 42 or you can arrange with our property manager to pay for garbage pick up from the villa. Please note that charges may be assessed for extraordinarily-dirtied conditions and for non-removal of excessive trash bags by guests.

Pool and Spa Maintenance: A complete pool and spa cleaning and servicing is generally done just before your arrival and every Monday. If the pool appears cloudy, please contact us so that an extra pool service may be made if necessary. There is a pool net hanging on the fence behind the pool lounge chairs.

Maid Services and Cleaning: Our villa is cleaned and prepared before your arrival. After you depart, the housekeepers will clean the villa and launder the sheets and towels. A midweek clean is included in visits of 7 days or more. It is customary to leave a tip for the housekeeper; a good rule of thumb is $25-$50 for a week.

Exterminators and Gardeners: We try to schedule our exterminator visits during villa vacancies and our gardeners arrive on Mondays.
